The Cub Scout Promise
There are a number of variations of the Cub Scout Promise to reflect the range of faiths, beliefs and attitudes, and nationalities, in the UK within Scouting.
I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God
and to the King,
to help other people
and to keep the Cub Scout Law.

For Parents & Guardians - Alternative Promise
Scouting is open and available to all, regardless of faith, nationalities etc. Therefore there are different variations of the Cub Scout Promise that can be made, allowing for the individuals obligations while upholding the essential spirit of the Promise.
