Group AGM- Monday 15th July
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a compulsory yearly meeting of the Group Scout Council with important legal aspects and key, mandatory business that must be covered. But that doesn’t mean that it needs to be boring, lengthy or tedious, ours never is
Our Annual Group AGM is an event that we have to hold every year, this year will be on Monday 15th July at the Scout Headquarters.
The main business part of the evening will start at 7.00 pm and will probably last around 40 mins.
Prior to this We are asking if you could bring your young people along , Beavers , Cubs, Scouts and Explorers at 6.00 pm where there will be games on the field and a Bouncy Castle for them to play on ,
We do need your support as Parents to stay to the meeting , listen to what has happened over the past year ,Badges and awards that have been gained we always need new members on the committee, especially we will be looking for a new Group Treasurer ,
if you feel that can help in any way please either talk to Linda Hall who is our Group Chairman or Roger Isaacs , Group Scout Leader .
After the meeting there will be cheese and wine, tea and coffee , and a time to mix, ask questions and socialise.
